Micah's F-I-V-E!

My sweet little-big Cinco-de-Mayo boy turned FIVE on Monday. He had been counting down for the past week, asking how many more days every day until it was finally his birthday. Then we started the count down of days until his birthday party!
He may be a big 5 year old now but he's still tiny! He's in the 3rd percentile for weight at 32.2 lbs (that's with clothes and shoes on!) but he's catching up in height between the 25th and 50th. He does eat - just prefers to do what we all should do according to some of the diet philosophies and eat 5 (or 10!) smaller meals a day instead of 3 bigger meals. He could eat all day long but only eats a little at a time (unless it's berries then he'll try and sneak the whole container.) He's healthy though and so no worries there.

My sweet boy is full of energy and silliness most of the time but he still loves to snuggle especially in the mornings. He currently is into dragons and also Ninja Turtles.  He loves preschool and will continue at his current school next year in the 5 year old class. He's very routine oriented when it comes to bed time with getting his book, fresh water, hugs and kisses and then reminded to stay in his bed. If we forget a step he gets out to come remind us.

He would get along good with my nephew! Doesn't stop moving & loves those turtles. We spent some days a the beach with him & I miss those spontaneous hugs & kisses!
