Ya'll my baby is growing way too fast. I
caught was right with her as she figured out, no problem, how to climb up the stairs. With Abby and Micah eagerly cheering her off. Now I'm going to have to retrain myself how to shut the baby gate downstairs.
My peanut has been wearing 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes for the past couple months and still wearing all her 3-6 month jammies. I'd been wanting to get her new ones but my favorite couple places to shop for jammies - Target and Children's Place had been slim pickings in her size. Plus Target thinks that we need fleece sleepers galore.... in South Texas. I know in some places it's cold but the room we sleep in is the warmest of the house, my baby refuses to give up the swaddle and gets sweaty at night so fleece is out. Thus eliminating 65% of the pajamas at Target right now. Another 12% get eliminated because while I know Christmas will be here before I know it, I'm not quite ready to put on Christmas pjs before Halloween. Another 10% eliminated because they aren't as soft as I like pjs to be. And then 7% eliminated because they only go up to 9 month and we want 12 month sizes to last a while. Thus leaving the remaining 6% to choice from. Luckily though finally today we found some. Sadly this means they were two piece sets. Not footed sleepers anymore. I think I'm gonna have to take a trip across town to Carter's or go to Kohl's and see if they have any footed sleepers in 12 month - I'm not ready to give them up completely.
That said she does look pretty sweet in these!
Where are your favorite places to shop for kids pjs? Are you sad like I am when they aren't in footed sleepers anymore? I know the husband will be happy though - he can't stand all the snaps!
