Pinterest: Valentines

So it's almost Valentine's day and Pinterest has so many adorable (free) printable Valentine ideas! I figured I'd look through all the ones I have pinned while the Superbowl is on.. I'm just watching the commercials anyway. Ha! Abby's teacher already sent home a note saying we could go ahead and send in Valentines and they had to have them by the 13th so everyone would have them before the party. I guess I we Abby should pick what kind of Valentines she wants to pass out to her classmates.

I love these 'love bug' Valentines - especially since there is no candy involved. Abby and Micah both love to 'catch' bugs in the backyard in their bug catchers so even though this is more 'boyish' I think Abby might like it too.

These are pretty cute too!

I really like these but would need to track down a heart pan to do the crayons in. I have enough broken crayons to do these but not the right pan.

These are cute and have options for boys and girls.

Teddy grams instead of candy!

For Micah to pass to his Bible class?

And for Abby...

I love that there are so many options because it seems like the stores always have the same ones year after year!

And I don't think I'll have time to do this - especially since it's so close to Valentines already but this is adorable!

And Micah :)

So what are ya'll doing for Valentine's Day? I always like to make heart shaped pancakes. Though this year I may make them the night before and reheat them instead of in the morning with the whole getting up early and getting Abby ready for school (especially with a newborn!) And serve them with strawberry milk.

I don't know if we'll get a Valentine's day or not... probably just one at home after the kids are in bed. My mentoring moms group provides childcare for a date night the weekend before Valentines but Beau is working that night so we'll see if he can switch/get it covered. If not I may see if any of my friends want another girls night on that night and take advantage of the childcare anyway!

I'm thinking of picking up the Lady and the Tramp for the kids for a Valentine's present along with maybe a little something each.
