Pinterst: Thanksgiving

Halloween is over, it's already pretty much a 1/3rd of the way through November. Thanksgiving (and therefore Christmas) are coming super fast!

Pumpkin bread - I think I need to bake some of this. Last year I made pumpkin cream cheese filled muffins which were really yummy. What I really need is those adorable little bread loaf baking dishes. I wonder if my new favorite store Sur La Table has some?  ETA: re-read the blog post with the recipe (click the pic to get there!) and these were found at Michael's for a dollar each!

Napkin rings - made from oven bake clay. I've got the clay already. I need to head out to Michaels for the right size cookie cutters and some paint and we can do these soon! (If you keep reading you'll laugh about the fact I need more cookie cutters ha!)

Table cloth - I said I was going to do this last year and never found the right table cloth. I'm determined to do it this year before my kids get too much bigger and add their hands each year.

Some free Thanksgiving printables - this one looks fun for the kids!

Now onto the cookie cutters I mentioned earlier. So currently my cookie cutters were living in the bottom of a cabinet. All spread out, no organization - really just a mess. I have a bunch... Over 125. (I know this because I bought a set of 25, then got a set of 100 in addition to the few I already had) And yes with all those I have - I still don't have little ones for the napkin rings I want to do.

See - seriously unorganized.

I found some inspiration from Annie's Eats - which I had pinned.

And today my inspiration got put into reality. Here's my take on it. It seriously took maybe 20 minutes.... well 20 minutes for Beau to do. He cut it, nailed it in the wall in the pantry/laundry room, cut some dowels for pegs and voila. (He was also working on one for the garage for his tools) Organized cookie cutters! I even organized them by holiday, letters, numbers, animals, sports, ect. I even seem to have room for a few more. ;)

I love it!
