Pumpkin Patch 2011

Saturday morning, the kids were both up early, so we headed to the pumpkin patch that is pretty much right around the corner from us. It's the same one we went to last year and Abby immediately remembered it - in fact she remembered it as we drove down the street towards it that it should be close.
Both kids were super excited to look at all the pumpkins - but I kept attempting to get a good picture of both of them looking at me. I got a couple with them both looking. Micah much preferred to run off and look at all the pumpkins and I guess I can't really blame him. Abby just kept giving me silly forced smiles. Group pictures ought to be interesting next year with the new babe in the mix as well.

Which of the 3 is best? I can't decide! I love how their pumpkin shirts I made them look.

After some pictures, the kids got to pick some pumpkins. They each got 'baby' pumpkins then we attempted to look for a big one for Beau to carve but it was hard to pick so we ended up just getting the little ones for now.
I love this picture of Abby and her favorite little pumpkin!

I wish he wasn't moving so far and I had been able to move quick enough so the tree wasn't right behind his head here!

Sounds like a great day.

Audrey loved the pumpkin patch this year too (once she got out of her no-nap funk). We got her a little pumpkin and it molded very fast. I was really bummed. I figured the pumpkin patch pumpkin should last longer than the store-bought one we bought, but it didn't.
