I pledge allegiance...

While we were in the car headed out to run to the store (a tactic to try and get a grumpy Micah out of the house where maybe he'd be happier - didn't work by the way) Abby out of the blue started singing a song from Bible class praise and worship (I love when she does this!) then she broke into the pledge of allegiance. I'd never heard her say it before but after a couple months of preschool she knows the whole thing (well almost) Here she is saying it for me: (As always please excuse my videographer skills and the 5 seconds of Micah coming right in front of the camera)

Speaking of Micah - he woke at 6 am this morning (eek - good thing I went to bed earlier last night but I still wasn't thinking we'd be getting up that early!) then after nap he was quite the cranky little guy. Finally in one of his little screaming fits over wanting something but not really wanting it I think I saw what looks like the start of a molar coming through on his back left. Umm... so he's only got the front two on the top and bottom - not the next ones of the sides yet which I thought were supposed to come in before the molars. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised by what his teeth do now - I mean he was toothless until 15.5 months. This explains his having in fingers in his mouth and the extra drool he's had lately - I just was assuming it was going to be a different tooth that we were going to be seeing soon.

Abby really loved the elf showing up today! She kept talking about him and asking if he was still there all day long and if he was going to get back in the cereal box. She thought it was so funny that he spelled out their names in the cheerios. I can't wait to see what she thinks about tomorrow!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
