Abby's first day of preschool

This morning was Abby's very first day of preschool! She was excited to go but a little worried when she asked where I would be and found out I wouldn't be in the building.
I will be honest and say that this "before" school picture was actually taken afterwards. I was a little worried about being on time because Beau had just informed me that traffic was horrible from the tropical storm that passed through yesterday that I failed in taking the before the first day of school picture!

I packed her up a yummy lunch in her new lunch box. Complete with mac and cheese muffin bites - which she enjoyed despite the fact that she told me she wanted a sandwich (but I didn't want to send her with pb in case of pb allergies.)
Her lunch was completed with a special first day of school treat.
We also brought her teacher a little appreciation gift.
I downloaded the template for the notecards from TomKat Studio

She was happy and excited about her school day when I picked her up and as always had to slide before leaving the building. She was a little confused as to why they didn't go to Praise and Worship though - she knows the Bible class routine (for Saturday, Sunday and Tuesdays) that's for sure!
Then we came home to put Micah down for his nap but not before finding a rolly polly at the door to examine.

She looks ecstatic!! How fun.

Good call on the PB. Our church's preschool doesn't allow any peanut products on site at all. I abide by that for church, too, since so many of the kids also attend the church.
