Family Swim Time

This afternoon we had family swim time at the gym pool. Today was one of Daddy's day off so he got to come with us - which means I got to snap a couple pictures! Abby practiced her swimming to Daddy and did wonderfully!

She still doesn't like to put her face in the water - even with her googles. This means that sometimes ends up having a little trouble because her legs and bottom start sinking while she tries to keep her face out of the water. She's brave though and will take off to swim to Daddy or I and is loving to jump to us - and not wanting to wear a life jacket all the time! At the beginning of the summer she was so worried about going under that she wouldn't swim without a flotation device and now she loves swimming without one.
I convinced Daddy to snap a picture of the little ones with me since I realize I am hardly ever in pictures with the kids since I'm always the one behind the camera. Daddy doesn't so much love to take pictures like I do so this is a big step. Busy pool = little ones not looking at the camera.

In a sad side note after editing these pictures I accidentally closed lightroom instead of minimizing it and I'm a few days past my 30 day free trial I downloaded after using the Lightroom 3 beta. I can edit my pictures using photoshop elements but they just don't always have the pop that I can get from lightroom. Eventually I'm gonna have to save up and buy Lr.

I am 30 and still have a hard time putting my face in the water when I swim. I know how, but I just don't like to. Abby's not alone!
