Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable 4th of July today. I know we did - well I think Beau would have done without the pain from his finger injury yesterday - but that aside it was a great 4th of July weekend. We spent lots of time hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa. Unfortunately I forgot to bring the camera with us so I only have a couple of iphone pictures from the weekend.

This morning I worked the nursery for one of the 3 services then we stayed around for the beginning of the 3rd service so I could hear some of the Robbie Seay band who were leading worship for us this weekend. They were pretty awesome! Abby even went to big church this morning instead of going to Bible class because that's what she said she wanted to do. According to Daddy, Grandpa and Grandma she did great! It helps that there wasn't a long sermon this morning though. After church we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa and they cooked us a yummy lunch as well! Thanks so much for a great weekend!

Abby and I made these yummy cookies for the holiday weekend and I think they were my best, yummiest, prettiest batch of cookies yet! I'm a little disappointed I didn't get any better, prettier pictures of them besides the freshly decorated on parchment paper pictures before I quickly packed them up to bring with us to Grandma and Grandpa's. I used this cookie recipe  with this icing recipe
