Grilled pound cake {dessert!}

So after our crawfish boil/grill out I made this dessert. Can you say yum? Seriously it's so good. So I had to make it again. This time the grill wasn't lit so I used the grill pan. Here's the basic run down of what I did. The recipe wasn't super clear about certain parts so I just took the basic idea and went with it.

Slice up however many sliced of pound cake you need for number of people you will be feeding. In this case for us that was 3.
I started by melting some butter adding in brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. I just mainly guestimated but about a tbsp of butter, two spoonfuls of brown sugar, a dash each of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. (This may not photograph as looking yummy but it so is!)
Then I brushed some of that mixture on each slice of pound cake and slices of pineapple and then place the slices on the hot grill or in this case today the grill pan.
Grill them for a couple minutes on each side. I brushed the pound cake with some pineapple juice while it was grilling to get that moistness and pineapple flavor into it.
Take off the grill, place a slice of grilled pineapple on top of the grilled pound cake.

We didn't have any whipped cream or ice cream but if you have it then add it if you want. I think either one would be excellent.

And enjoy!
