Jardin D'Acclimation
We had read this park was going to be lots of fun so we were excited to go. We took the petit train from the subway station to get into the park which ended up being our favorite part of the trip. The playground was very crowded as was the spray park area. We stayed out of the section with rides that required tickets a they were expensive and we didn't think there would be much Abby would enjoy. The playground was near where the give riding lesson and where they have animals so it was a little smelly. We much preferred Luxembourg to this.

The bread and bus adventure
Today we went out in search of a yummy French baguette. The normal bakery near Gigi and Pops house is closed on Mondays and the next closest one isn't as good so we went on a walk into the next little town (about 15 minutes walking) to search for an open bakery. We found one and then decided to take the bus back. Abby was super excited to ride the bus as she always asks back home to ride the blue bus. The bus ride seemed to be everything she had hoped for and she was a happy girl. However it wasn't a blue bus - the Paris bus is green - guess we'll have to ride a blue bus when we get home.
Watching for the bus - look at all the pretty flowers.
"Booty stay put!"
Between now not really liking planes too much and the fun swing set at Gigi and Pops house Abby is never going to want to leave! Abby slipped off once and since then Gigi told her booty to stay put and Abby really enjoys this phrase now and will tell her booty to stay put in a cute silly voice!
Even baby brother likes to join in on the fun swinging - with the help of a towel and scarf!

So I need help deciding what to do for Abby's birthday cake.
I asked Abby and she said she wanted chocolate with purple so I found these that are cute:http://bakerella.blogspot.com/2009/04/cute-for-cure.html (I'd do chocolate cake, the brown bottoms/purple top) This would be my first attempt at something like that so not sure they'd turn out as cute as the picture but it looks not too terribly difficult (there are instructions elsewhere on how to make the pops)
Then these look delicious - not birthday cakeish but candles will fix that.

Or option three:

I'd do purple flowers instead of pink though since Abby said she wanted purple.

Are you ready for yoga?
Not this morning! She was quite a handful yesterday when I woke her up
early so I'm not waking her today so that means we are missing yoga. :(

VBS
This week Abby got to experience Vacation Bible School - or at least our Church's version of it. The theme is Make A Splash. It's just three days from 9:30-11:30. She seems to be having lots of fun - other than having to be woken up this morning to get her dress/fed and there on time. It's been strange to have a quiet house and just the itty bitty to take care of (and he's usually ready for a good nap when we get home!)
