Zoo visit June 12th

Snakes!

Since Daddy works Tuesday evenings I took Abby to family night at Chick-fil-a this past week. They were having a reptile show this week for there entertainment. Abby was so excited to see the snakes. When we first got there it was really crowded and we were in the back and she only got to briefly pet the snakes/lizards. The reptile guy was letting some of the kids in the front hold the snakes around their necks and Abby kept telling me she wants to have a snake around her neck too. We went ahead and went inside to eat then came back outside in hopes the crowd had died down and she could get a better look and a maybe chance to hold a snake. (After she finished eating she had left a couple fries that she really wanted to bring to feed the snakes - it took a second to convince her that snakes don't eat french fries!) The crowd had died down and the guy was starting his presentation over. She impressed the reptile guy with how gentle she was when she touched the lizards and the first couple snakes. Then he brought out the little snakes that he was letting the kids hold. Abby got to be the very first one of this go round to hold the snake around her and she was so excited that she finally got to hold one. Daddy now says we can get her a snake if I want.... I declined that offer.
